The publication encompasses a venture into the nature of language as connective tissue. The site hosts curated selection of academic or non-academic lectures and contemporary discourses including queer and feminist theory, new materialism, critical theory, neuroscience, environment, migration studies, ecology, and technology to nourish uses of language.
The platform is a collective/think-tank founded as an online platform by Deniz Gül, a conceptual artist and writer based in Istanbul, Turkey, and currently being run with the joint efforts of various parties including artists, researchers, translators, and our contributors.
The project also seeks to organize series of events and activities to grow a new culture of literacy by responsibly discussing the functions of language: necessities of language’s role for inclusivity, freedom to speech and language rights, literary narration, and storytelling to nourish senses of empathy, mutual understanding and appreciate multiplicity to co-exist. Its interdisciplinary program offers public readings, screenings, workshops, publications and talks (lectures, discussions and interviews).
